CarboFlow -
A new approach for the biochar industry
Capitalizing on our experiences as a project developer, we have first-hand experience of what is required to make pyrolysis projects truly viable. High-CAPEX, low-capacity and long lead-times can all stop projects getting off the ground.
Innovations in design, manufacturing and installation have all kept costs down so we can offer high quality plants at a price our young and important industry can afford.
The result is a lower cost, high-capacity, end-to-end pyrolysis plant that delivers increased environmental and financial returns.
Plant packages
A high-efficiency pyrolysis unit is only one part of what will make your plant successful. Fit-for-purpose feeding, energy management and discharge all make up the bigger picture and can be a major part of your total costs.
We offer standard, proven equipment to keep costs down while ensuring smooth operation and reliability.

Business model
Our Green Hub carbonization plants all operate on a simple yet highly effective business model:
Inputs
Biomass
Feedstock can come from many organic sources.
Pyrolysis

CarboFlow
Feedstock is thermally decomposed into biochar and syngas, which is combusted for energy to maintain the process and power any required drying process.
Outputs
Heat & electricity
Excess energy can be delivered as hot air, water or steam, and co-generation of electricity.
Biochar
Biochar can be used as a soil amendment, storing carbon for thousands of years.
Carbon credits
Carbon removal credits can be sold for income, or retired to reduce your own emissions.

Pyrolysis for
global deployment
Onnu began as pyrolysis project developers. We soon discovered that access to finance and other commercial requirements were a significant barrier to widespread deployment.
In 2024 we formed our engineering division with a single goal - to create an offering that would be affordable and commercially viable to those wanting to scale carbon removal.
How have we done this? Through simplicity of design, standardization of parts and a trusted Malaysian manufacturing partner.
This means more projects are commercially viable without impacting reliability and quality.

Working with the leading carbon registries
We have ongoing relationships with the world's leading carbon registries, including Isometric, Puro.earth and Rainbow, including the ability to feed required production data to ensure smooth issuance of credits.
This means full compliance with whichever registry you choose.
