We’re pleased to announce that, following a vetting process and thorough assessment of our CarboFlow technology, Onnu has been approved as an official Rainbow Partner in the Industrial Biochar Tech Manufacturer category. Pyrolysis manufacturers underwent a technical review of how the equipment controls temperature, handles methane, and is instrumented and calibrated.
Who is Rainbow?
Rainbow is an industry leading, ICROA-endorsed, and ICVCM-approved carbon crediting platform. They connect carbon buyers with high-quality developers of engineered carbon projects, including biochar carbon removal (BCR).
What does this Rainbow Partner certification mean for Onnu?
The Rainbow Partner programme is a vetted network of technology providers and service partners designed to support carbon removal projects under the Rainbow Standard. This certification further validates CarboFlow as one of the most credible, reliable and compliant pyrolysis technology providers on the market. It also provides reassurance to carbon buyers and project developers that our systems meet the highest international standard for carbon accounting.
As seen in our first commercial implementation of CarboFlow, at BioCarbon Technology Asia in Malaysia, our technology offers high capacity and feedstock versatility at a price point that is needed to help the biomass pyrolysis industry truly scale.
